Emmanuel Church Aylsham was formed from two churches, White Hart Street Baptist Church built in 1790, and Cawston Road Brethren Chapel in 1891.
It was in 1993 that these two churches joined together to become one congregation which was formalised by a Deed of Trust registered with the Charities Commission as ‘Emmanuel Church Aylsham’ in 1995.
At Emmanuel Church you will find a place where you can belong and also to believe. A place where you can become all that God intended you to be, a child of God

We are a fellowship that serves one another and the community in which God has placed us.
God has called us to reach out, as His people, to those whom we come across. We run community groups such as Space 4U, Cosy Café and a Food Bank.
Within the fellowship we show and share the love of God through Home visits, Prayer, Fellowship and Study Groups,

We Aim:
To help people feel they BELONG at whatever stage they are at.
To point people to Jesus so that they may BELIEVE on Him.
To disciple those who have professed faith that they BECOME more like Jesus.
To encourage each other to BUILD up the Church, both spiritually and physically in order to see the presence of God manifest.
FIND JESUS
God said that if we search for Him with our whole heart we would find Him. Jeremiah 29:13. We are called to seek Him while there is time Isaiah 55:6.
Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. Luke 19:10. He came to bring us back into His fold. Without Him we are sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
His desire is that we all come to a saving knowledge of who He is and what He has done through His life, death, resurrection and His ascending to the Father.
When we call on the name of the Lord with sincerity and confessing our sins and believing on Him we will come back into the fold and belong to Him.
There are many religions in the world, but Jesus didn’t come to create another religion, He came to bring us back to the Father.
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:6
At Emmanuel Church you will find a place where you can belong and also to believe. A place where you can become all that God intended you to be, a child of God.
"I have come that they may have life and life in abundance”, Jesus said. John 10:10
No matter what we go through in life, the good the bad and the ugly, Jesus is with us and He has promised that one day when He returns we will have abundant life.
When we find Jesus we have a foretaste of what is to come. We encourage you today, find Jesus.
